She shares my love of anatomy, and has a passion for sharing her knowledge of orofacial myofunctional disorders and improving speech, sleep, and other tongue-tie related symptoms!
My top takeaways from this episode are:
1) Not every provider knows what to look for or how to appropriately diagnose a tie. It's important to trust your gut and seek out providers with more education surrounding this topic.
2) The prehab and the post-op therapy is crucial for giving your child the best chance at improving their feeding, swallowing talking, and even sleeping!
