Joining T.O.C. Podcast from Bendigo Australia via zoom is Jamie Ward. Jamie retired as a Police Officer in Australia with a Chronic PSTD diagnosis and shares his lengthy journey in his treatment process. Jamie offers a great comparison between Australia and the United States of America in regards to the stigma and culture amongst our first responder community.
Throughout Jamie's 21 year career, he experienced several critical incidents such as a triple fatality vehicle collision, co-worker die by suicide out of no where, the smell of diesel, to name a few.
Jamie has completed EMDR Therapy and provides an in depth review on EMDR and how it has benefitted him in addition to advice for our community.
