056. Key Self-Growth and Spirituality Reminders: Come Back Home to Yourself

Hello magical souls, this week's episode is a ~solo episode~ with Sara, focused on key self-growth and spiritual reminders to bring you back home to the most precious home you have, YOURSELF!
I recorded this episode from inspiration from a recent wellness retreat that I had the privilege to attend with my mother. This experience led me to so many rich reminders and new learnings
Some of my favorite learnings:
- The importance of PRESENCE ~ taking intentional time for yourself to be present with limited distractions. We spend so much of our time thinking about the past and the future, existing in previous memories from our past that pull us out of the present moment. Presence enables you to fully engage in and appreciate life's experiences, whether it's savoring a meal, enjoying nature, or spending time with loved ones. By being present, you can heighten your senses, deepen your enjoyment, and create lasting memories. It allows you to make the most of each moment and live a more fulfilling life.
- MICRO MINDFULNESS is powerful ~ I used to have a very rigid mindset about mindfulness, thinking if I would meditate it needed to be ~30+ minutes or if I was doing breathwork it had to be a dedicated session where I was seated/laying down. I had a huge mindset shift at the retreat about micro mindfulness, figuring out how to fit small moments of mindfulness throughout my day. Micro mindfulness refers to practicing mindfulness in brief, bite-sized moments throughout the day. It involves bringing your attention and awareness to the present moment in short intervals, even amidst your daily activities. You can integrate micro mindfulness into routine activities such as brushing your teeth, washing dishes, or walking to your car. Instead of letting your mind wander or being on autopilot, you intentionally focus on the sensations, movements, and details of the activity at hand.
- ABUNDANCE is our BIRTHRIGHT ~ What a powerful message. Abundance comes in so many forms, financial abundance is just one of them. We can have abundance of love, joy, safety, self-love, self-care, food, gratitude, etc. t: The concept of an "abundance mindset" highlights the belief that there is enough for everyone and that opportunities for success and fulfillment are limitless. Embracing this mindset involves shifting away from scarcity, lack, and a zero-sum perspective, and instead focusing on gratitude, optimism, and the belief in one's ability to attract and create abundance. Abundance attracts abundance!
- How we THINK-> creates how we FEEL -> dictates our EMOTIONS -> determines our MOOD
