This week on the CWC podcast, I talk about the overwhelming feelings in the world right now. Most of us are barely dealing with our day-to-day duties, much less the weight of what's going on in the world around us. We are inundated with tragedy and fear on a constant basis—not just in our own community, but all over the globe. Times like this seem to exacerbate even small problems, and can be especially challenging for people with substance abuse and mental health issues. In this episode, I discuss the effects Covid has had on my life, and how hard it’s been to hang on to the person I’ve fought so hard to become. I also dedicate time responding to a quote from Nadia Bolz-Weber that resonated with me.
