In this episode, I have the pleasure of speaking to one of the most passionate, fun and inspirational people I’ve ever met, school teacher and social media influencer, Mr Dan McFarland. Dan has been teaching for 5 years and originally came from a small seaside town in Northern Ireland. He ​studied for his PGCE at the University of Leicester, which helped him pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a teacher. He’s worked in Foundation Stage 2 (Primary 1) for 7 years now and absolutely loves it. His experience of the education system has not always been this way and at one point his mental health had gotten so bad that he was looking for a way out. At that point, a significant turning point took him on a remarkable self-development journey.
