L&J // This week Lulu and Jana are having an open and fluid conversation about some topics that have been coming up for them lately. They chat about mental and physical health in regards to trauma and emotions, modern day relationship expectations, habits, the importance of taking care of the nervous system, and how trauma is stored in the body. L&J both consider themselves to be highly sensitive people which is something that neither of them used to identify with, but as they've gotten older and watched themselves experience their triggers and work through their trauma they have both realized that they do have strong emotions and hyper vigilant nervous systems which both need to be protected and prioritized in their day to day lives as well as in relationship. L&J discuss why the "burnout" culture and people believing that everything needs to be comfortable is actually creating a lot of self entitlement and laziness because goals, growth and hard work are actually often really uncomfortable situations and that isn't necessarily a bad thing. L&J are also reviewing the book Atomic Habits by James Clear, which opened their eyes to a lot of ways they could be doing things differently in their lives.

  • Being okay with discomfort on your journey of achieving your goals
  • How to create habits that feel good for you
  • How to be more productive
  • Society not wanting to work for the things they really want
  • Choosing toxic partners due to childhood trauma
  • Why an unanswered text is modern day silent treatment

  • Breaking negative feedback loops
