For the past almost 9 years now I have been a real estate team leader. Way back in the beginning of my career 22 years ago I was on a traditional real estate team … and those two experiences and types of teams could not be more different.

I think there is a common misconception in our industry about real estate teams … how they operate, what the splits should be (you know the book on this subject), who they are for.

I’m here to tell you that now, in 2024, they are many different types of real estate teams, structures, splits (from high to low) and everything in between.
