People and teams give significance to the most interesting things – sometimes we give meaning to things that are not necessary or all that meaningful in the big picture of life - Things like a sports game (game 7 of a playoff series), or TV shows (what the main character will say in an upcoming episode), or when making a big deal about the newest iPhone that’s coming out, etc. Yet we don’t always seem to take that same time and energy to give meaning to things that give our life more value - that give our life the real juice – the things that actually live in our reality. Coach Nick and the Dudes of Disruption disrupt how we relate to acknowledging achievements and to look for more opportunities to celebrate – large or small - rather than taking things for granted – rather than living one moment to another without ever “smelling the roses” – after all, what you focus on expands. The disruptors emphasize the importance of creating a habit out of celebrating everything all the time.
