I hope everyone is doing well and keeping the rubber side down. In this episode we have fellow shredder Brenda Gonzalez who volunteers her time and energy to assist a local non-profit here called South Texas Off Road Mountain Bikers bring new trails to San Antonio. They also host clinics for kids once a month, manages volunteers to clean, maintain and build trails here in San Antonio.
Unfortunately the process is not as quick as local riders to include myself would like but it is the process to get sanctioned approved trails by local government due to most of Texas land being privatized. Luckily for a lot of us we have dedicated people on the job doing the work that most of us are not willing to do. Hopefully those of you that listen to this will come away with a new appreciation/understanding of what it takes to keep the fight alive to bring more to our local trail system.
