In this week’s episode of the Unreal Results podcast, I talk about recognizing and responding to red flags in patient care. First and foremost, this topic is important to me because this is what happened with my mom’s cancer diagnosis, which I talked all about in episode 1 of this podcast. I talk about how it’s important to recognize when a patient’s condition isn’t progressing as expected and the need to consider possible underlying visceral issues or red flags such as cancer or infection. You’ll also hear me talk about the importance of referring your patient to a specialist and how to do that appropriately to ensure comprehensive care for the patient.
