In many cultures, music therapy and sound waves have been believed to have the power to heal the body and the mind. In ancient India, Sanskrit chants are documented in the Vedas, ancient Hindu scriptures. In the Chinese medical tradition, sound therapy was used as a form of treatment for various ailments and was believed to stmulate healing in different body parts.
