Resilience is a concept that can be applied beyond both personal and organisational spheres. Systems and entire sectors can be resilient (or not) which leads us to ask what resilience means within a wider context.
In this episode I speak to Sophia Woodley, Design Manager at Golant Innovation and co-author of What is Resilience Anyway: A Review (Arts Council England), a report which seeks to answer:
How is resilience currently understood in the arts and culture sector?
Are organisations becoming more resilient and, if so, how are they doing this?
What opportunities might there be to develop the sector’s resilience in the future?
We chat about the report’s major findings and how innovation and creativity can be harnessed to help the sector adapt and endure.
