A coaching job in New Mexico proved to be impactful for Raidbard, as the school is located on the border of the States and Mexico, exposing him to lifestyles and upbringings he was previously unaware of. Instead of allowing the situation to intimidate him, Matthew immersed himself in the culture, community, and university.
