Do you need to lower your expectations this holiday season? Recently, I've noticed that I'm having a lot of stronger reactions to things that I normally wouldn't respond to so quickly or feel like I go from zero to sixty in one second. That is not typical of me. And it's an invitation to examine my expectations more closely. When you have stronger reactions, when you are short-tempered, when you are struggling to respond well, it is simply a sign that you have a very high expectation.
