Because the Witnesses believe that the world is soon to end, there is no need to spend any time pursuing a career in endless pursuits. Instead, they believe that trying to convert others to learn the truth as outlined by their religion is what God wants them to do.
You will learn how the Watchtower leadership misappropriates the term career by insinuating that if their members take up the task of cart witnessing, it somehow equates into a meaningful career choice.
