Drink Background:
Parm Boyz, a popular Italian-American pop-up, decided to elevate their cocktail offerings with aperitiki drinks. The White Negroni Piña Colada, a tropical twist on a classic Italian cocktail, was a standout choice. These low-ABV drinks provided a refreshing complement to their savory dishes, adding a touch of unexpected excitement to the dining experience.
Ingredients
- 1 oz. mezcal, preferably Mal Bien
- 1/2 oz. Suze (This complex, aromatic aperitif has notes of bittersweet herds, subtle accents of vanilla, candied orange, spice and a delicately bitter finish.)
- 1/2 oz. Mahina Coconut Rhum Liqueur
- 1/2 oz. lemon juice
- 3/4 oz. pineapple juice
- 1/4 oz. simple syrup (1:1, sugar:water)
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and fill with ice.
- Shake until chilled.
- Fine-strain into a rocks glass filled with ice.
- Top with several dashes of Angostura bitters and garnish with a pineapple leaf.
