This episode is an interview with Jacquelyn Shulman -Director, Producer, Filmmaker and we learn more about her first documentary Bubblez. We speak about her experience undertaking the Rise like a Phoenix and Advanced Vedic healing programs with us – how that helped her move further into her life purpose to create her own films. It also covers her journey to spiritually heal and connect deeply into her purpose, making a transitional pivot into the work she loves to do.

Her documentary – Bubblez:

Bubblez is a story of a man who is on a mission from God using his drag queen persona. After coming out as gay, Bubblez lost his relationship with his ex-girlfriend and daughter, but found a new role as drag mother, leading the ‘The House of Alexander’. Despite society scapegoating drag as a threat to family values, he mentors his drag kids to preserve the culture and give love wherever it’s missing. Yet as his family gains momentum onstage, black drag clubs in New Orleans start closing. While struggling for a place to perform, Bubblez’s teenage daughter returns to rebuild their relationship. ‘Bubblez’ offers an intimate portrayal of a man who believes in the transformative power of love and family, above all else.
