Kat Franchino sits down to discuss how introverts can thrive in an extroverted world with Janice Chaka. Janice helps introverts all over the world find success in their careers. It helps to understand from an expert that being an introvert doesn’t mean you can’t be the life of the party or achieve your goals. “There’s so much misinformation out there and there’s so many negative connotation when you use [the word ‘introvert], that, like, ‘Do I want to be associated with that?’”

“You can’t expect to be your best if you’re not feeling energized and full.” Janice touches on how important it is to learn how you recharge, and focus on self-care based on your needs. “Know yourself. Get to know yourself. And it is trial and error.”

She encourages introverts not to get too focused on the fact they are introverted. “There’s so many words that can describe a person and so [introvert] is just one of many that will describe you.”
