A Path Can Be Changed By Just One Person. And It Might Not Even Be Someone You Know.
That was the case with Dr. Franchell Hamilton. She didn't start out with a career in bariatric surgery in mind when she got her BSc in Psychology.
She founded A Better Weigh Center – a place for her patients to receive treatments ranging from bariatric surgery and medical weight loss to hormone therapy.
As her practice grew, she began seeing more and more patients, often with the same recurring issue – maintaining their weight loss. Dr. Hamilton was not in the business of short-term fixes. She wanted to provide results with longevity.
The 4 Pillars: the mental, environmental, behavioral, and medical state of a patient.
In addressing these key areas, Dr. Hamilton was able to better provide a treatment plan for each patient that not only addresses their disease but also the root cause and methods to prevent it from recurring.
