About Lisa
My name is Lisa Toma, I am 38 years old and I am a mom of 3 little ones. Becoming a mom has been my biggest reason to really dive deep into my healing journey. I wanted to be able to show up as my highest self for my babies, but most importantly, for myself.
In May 2002, my mother was murdered by my father when I was 18, the eldest sibling of 4. That day our lives got turned upside down and it was the beginning of our nightmare.
We had no idea what the path ahead would be like and if we would be able to pull through. There was a lot of trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression and confusion to say the least.
After years of pain and suffering, feeling like everything was always going wrong in my life, attracting the wrong partners and falling a victim to my story, I needed a change, I wanted peace. I was tired of fighting and I was tired of being so angry.
I started my healing journey by getting through my traumas and changing my mindset, which eventually lead me to the final step of my healing. The step, that I never in a million years and swore to myself I could and would never do, forgive my father. I will lead you through my journey of how I got there and why I did, and now I am free. At peace with my past.
