Pityriasis rosea is a common rash that can often be diagnosed without biopsy. However it can be mimicked by secondary syphilis and tinea versicolor. This episode includes a discussion of all 3 disorders and includes a clinical scenario seeing a young patient with a pityriasiform rash along with Dr. Grumpypants.
