Dr. Donald Cressey introduced the Fraud Triangle as a theoretical model in the 1970s. At its core, the model outlines the three elements that routinely lead to occupational white-collar crime: opportunity, pressure (motivation), and rationalization (justification). This episode is dedicated to the causation and application of the Fraud Triangle and/or Fraud Prevention Model but also adds a possible four elements of "Prestige" to the Fraud Triangle Theory and discussion.
