When coping with the inner critic we need to realize to heal this we must shift the critical inner parent to a more compassionate one. We can do this by realizing many parts exist within us-like a Russian doll. We can honor the part that is critical by allowing it to emerge, observing it, then transforming it with a more compassionate dialogue. This is all directed torwards the inner child. . .
