This week we talk to Peggy Lavelle and Shawn Sax about the SF women's 100x 1 mile world record attempt! Shawn is a runner, SFRRC board member, and director for the world record attempt relay, and Peggy is a pioneer for women’s running and a participant in past world record breaking relays. Shawn and Peggy share their personal running journeys, the evolution of San Francisco’s running community, the details of what it takes to put on a relay of this size, and their efforts to elevate women in sports.
