Welcome to the Saving Throes podcast! This is my Tabletop role-playing game podcast, part of the Red Rooster's Gaming Coop network where I talk gaming and gaming culture every week. Each episode will feature a topic or theme along with my take on current happenings in the world of tabletop role-playing games and semi regular updates on the games I am currently involved with, or new games or products I have come across.
With 2023 officially behind us, I am ready to go over my top 5 games of 2023 and what made them so special. If you have listened to this show before, some of these may come as no surprise, but there are certainly a couple of surprises to be found. Although I was not able to play all of the games that I put forward as the games of the year extensively, I can say that they were all a joy to either play or read through, or entertaining to watch an actual play video of. Rest assured though, I have had a chance to play the majority of them. Tune in to hear who the big winners are and who takes home the # 1 spot as the overall Red Rooster's Gaming Coop roleplaying game of the year for 2023.
