For my birthday this year I was generously gifted tickets to a concert which is very thoughtful – an evening out with my husband at an absolutely beautiful venue in San Diego. Unfortunately though, I had to give the tickets back to the friends who gave them to me because I couldn’t find childcare. It was on me to find the babysitter so I can enjoy my birthday present. It feels like an incomplete gift because I am now tasked with finding a way to execute this present. This got me thinking about how we support moms, especially new moms.
