Gretchen Metsa is a trail and ultrarunner from the Iron Range of Minnesota and is a familiar name to anyone who follows midwest trail running. Gretchen began running ultras in 2016 and has since racked up 16 race wins at high profile events such as The Superior 100, Marquette 50k, Arrowhead 135, Wild Duluth 100k, and the The MN Voyageur 50, just to name a few. Gretchen is also a Mother of three and a type 1 diabetic, who has become a local resource to many looking to learn how to better manage the condition while living life to the fullest.
