Jo completed her undergraduate work at SUNY Albany graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree. Jo went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from Albany Law School. After being admitted to the New York State Bar, Jo returned to her hometown and faced a tough job market for young lawyers. In 1985, Jo opened her own practice and was a sole practitioner - up until two years ago when her nephew joined Fabrizio Law Offices as an associate attorney. Fabrizio Law

Offices offers legal services in family law, real estate, estate planning, business law and trial services.

In addition to the full time practice of law, Jo serves as President of Rapid Drug Test Systems, a full service drug testing and training facility. With a deep desire to help people understand how law applies to, and impacts,their lives Jo began speaking and teaching sharing her knowledge of law and her skills as a negotiator, effective communicator and entrepreneur. She has been an Instructor for Elmira Business Institute and an Adjunct Professor for SUNY Broome Community College.

Jo is frequently called upon to speak on a variety of topics including Successful Negotiating, Leadership Skills for Women, Legal Issues for Business Owners and Fearless Women: Keys to Business Success to name a few. Jo has published several articles and was featured as a female business owner in Today's Central New York (CNY) Women magazine ( April 2013). Jo is actively involved with a number of organizations in her community and frequently serves as a director on various boards.
