Please welcome with me Rebecca Bergemann from Germany. Rebecca has quite a few different experiences with living abroad and traveling around. She has been exploring Southeast Asia and spent time with her dad in the Philippines but also lived for some years in Brazil before finding her sense of home in Portugal.
In this episode, we chat with Rebecca from Germany, who shares her inspiring journey from a 9-to-5 job to finding her true path. After a breakdown at work, she locked herself in the office and mapped out her passions, leading her to join a friend in Cambodia. From there, Rebecca traveled across Southeast Asia and the Philippines before heading to Brazil, where a terrifying robbery incident in Salvador almost sent her back to Germany. But upon landing in Rio and witnessing its breathtaking beauty, she decided to stay.

Rebecca opens up about how she became a flight attendant, detailing the application process, interview experience, and training. Her story also touches on finding love in Brazil, having a son, and eventually moving to Portugal, where she now feels at peace, no longer needing to escape through travel.
