Men in particular often suffer from emotional stagnation, manifesting as feelings of despair, depression, or emotional numbness – all of which can have serious physical and spiritual consequences.
Luke enlightens us with his knowledge of Chinese medicine, explaining how emotional stagnation can disrupt bodily systems, promoting inflammation and potential loss of function. We also consider the societal construct of masculinity and the unique challenge men face in redefining their roles.
