Disabled Girls Who Lift

In our latest episode, Nurse Ryann joins us to talk about ableism in healthcare, life as a single disabled woman after divorce, winning Ms Wheelchair Virginia, and why fitness matters with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Ryann spent most of her life with an invisible disability and recently transitioned to using a wheelchair full time. As someone who can no longer choose when to disclose her disability, she wants us all to learn that people with disabilities are whole humans who deserve to work, lift, love, and play without the stigmas attached to their mobility aids.
