The Veteran Hunter was born out of a love of nature and an understanding of the healing power of the outdoors. Whether you are climbing a tree stand looking for that perfect buck, trekking miles into the Wyoming wilderness to bag your first elk, or making a pilgrimage to Alaska to cast into traveling salmon nature provides a soul cleansing experience. We discuss why veterans gravitate to the outdoors, specifically the parallels between hunting and military operations. Brian goes over what to focus on as a beginning hunter. We talk about how to spend your hard-earned dollars when looking at gear as a new hunter and outdoorsman. Brian also describes some of The Veteran Hunter's events, including the most recent Gold Star Dad Wyoming Elk Hunt (trust me you are going to want to hear this story!).
