For many years, we have been told that diet is the key to achieving our weight loss goals. However, recent research suggests that it is more complex. While diet certainly plays a role, it may not be the most important factor in achieving sustainable weight loss.

In this episode, we are joined by Kate Berridge, a clinical nurse specialist in Bariatrics RNcP MN (Hons) and founder of Tiaki Whaiaro. Kate shares her inspiring story in the bariatric world. She highlights "flourishing" in the context of weight loss after Bariatric Surgery, which generally means successfully maintaining weight loss and experiencing positive growth in overall well-being. She also emphasises the importance of adopting healthy habits, such as regular exercise, balanced nutrition, and mindfulness practices, before undergoing Weight Loss Surgery to set the stage for long-term success.

Take advantage of this insightful conversation on how to achieve sustainable weight loss!
