Everyone has heard of cooperation. But radical cooperation takes cooperation to another level because it incorporates real trust. Where trust is, cooperation becomes more efficient, more seamless, and less problematic— because you know that when there’s a problem, the people in your organization have your back, no matter how large or widespread the organization may be.

The trust that allows for maximum efficiency and effectiveness in an organization isn’t a matter of making a decision— it’s a continual commitment to grow relationships, build trust, and depend on one another in ways that can sometimes take us outside of our comfort zones. How do you build trust and cooperation? By developing a true belief that the people in your organization have the same end goal as you— to make your organization a success. When you can get to this place mentally, you can see any decision or opinion you disagree with through the prism of a difference of methodology, not ideology. Instead of thinking, ‘This person is trying to ruin this project,’ you start with, ‘This person wants the same thing I do, even though we disagree on the path to get there.’
