Patience can help us achieve our goals if we use it strategically. There's some disagreement over the importance of patience, but it depends on how we apply it. We can use it to temper the "edge" of our ambition to help avoid burnout and save us from some tempting shortcuts.
It's good to have people around you who align with your values and goals!
Some thoughts! This video was filmed in response to a friend worried about becoming an adult and having to make a living, pay bills, and other fun grownup stuff. It definitely is a change for some people, but the outlook is not as daunting as it may seem.

Here are some thoughts on friendship!I think there are at least 2 parts to this:1.) Finding new opportunities to meet people and make friends2.) Learning to be a better friend.Shared experiences can help grow friendships. We can do this by pursuing a passion. This is sometimes done through some combination of the following:a.) building somethingb.) joining others in a mutually shared pursuit (like fitness, art, or warm beverages)A good goal for being a better friend might be to learn to treat our friends the way we'd want them to treat us.However, as usual, we can remember that while personal development can be a lifelong journey, we'll sometimes meet people that connect with us better than others. It can benefit us to be introspective and reflect on ways we can improve. On the other hand, it can also benefit us to remember that not everyone is going to like us (or vice versa) and that may be fine.…
