Harris may have been born and raised in New York City, but she has Tennessee roots through her father and has spent much of her life split between homes in the Northeast and the South – specifically New Orleans. For more than fifty years, she has been a college professor, a writer, and a lecturer, and her many books have earned her a reputation as an authority on food of the African Diaspora, as well as a lifetime achievement award from the James Beard Foundation. A few years back, Netflix adapted her book, High on the Hog: A Culinary Journey from Africa to America , into a 4 part docuseries. And I’m very proud to say that she’s a longtime contributor to Southern Living with a regular column called The Welcome Table. This episode was recorded in the Southern Living Birmingham studios, and Sid and Jessica talked about her mother’s signature mac and cheese, the cast-iron skillet she’d be sure to save if ever her house were on fire, and her dear friend, the late New Orleans chef Leah Chase. Communication is an important part of our lives and it really matters how we communicate. Unless you are planning for a solitary sanyasi life in the Himalayas, you would require interacting with fellow humans. Whatever you communicate and how you communicate will have an impact on your life. As a wise man, you must always consider these three things before uttering a word. To whom you are speaking? How are you speaking? What are you speaking? It is very crucial to understand the mindset of the person or the group to whom you desire conveying some information. Also, consider your place in the hierarchy before you speak. Be straightforward, diplomatic, or polite as per the demand of the situation. The choice of words must match the expertise of the receiver. After all, a successful communication is about making them understand instead of flaunting your own intelligence. Your tone must match your position in the hierarchy as well as the requirement of the situation. Whatever information you provide must be true and valid, if not then ensure that you don’t get caught.…
Always give advise to someone who will understand your value. Correct an wise man who will worthy of your knowledge. It is better not to try to correct a fool or to spread wisdom where it doesn’t be understood or valued.
Goodness is the only investment that never fails. It is not a choice only, it is a lifestyle. It is always good to good on everything no matter what it is. Being good is ann wonderful and vibrant legacy to leeave beehind.

If you want to overpower the entire world merely by just one action, then put restraint upon your tongue speaking ill of others.
