At the start of the New Year, many of us set resolutions to pursue new goals and strive for success in various areas of our lives. However, as we embark on this journey, it's essential to remember that the true measure of success is not found in accumulating wealth, recognition, or status. In fact, the pursuit of these things can lead to emptiness if they are prioritized over our spiritual health and relationship with God.
Matthew 16:26-27 reminds us that the most valuable things in life cannot be measured by earthly standards. Jesus asks us to consider what it truly means to live a successful life—one that honors God, impacts others, and brings true fulfillment. In a world that constantly pushes for more—more wealth, more success, more followers—we must pause and evaluate: What is the cost of our pursuit? Are we gaining the world but forfeiting our soul in the process?
In today’s episode, I’ll explore how aligning our success with God’s values can lead to fulfillment that lasts beyond the temporal.
