Bravery is not the absence of fear. You don’t need to be fearless to make great things happen in your life. Rather, we all need to be able to feel the fear and continue to make strides toward our goals. Listen as I share my thoughts on fear, courage, and why fearlessness is a myth.
Throughout my life I’ve been lucky to have a unique relationship with fear. Instead of allowing fear to hold me back from my goals, dreams, and desires, I have always allowed it to push me forward.
Fear to me has always equalled courage. It takes courage to pluck up the gall to move through the fear that wants to keep you stuck. It’s having the courage to keep going that makes us brave and it’s hindsight that allows us to reflect on those brave moments and see our growth.
If you view fear as a tool to shine a light on where you need to grow, you’ll never go wrong.
I’m sharing some of my own personal moments where I was definitely deeply afraid, but I did not allow that fear to hold me back. If I had, I would not be where I am today with the business I’m building and the life I’m living.
