1/ intercession is about praying for others, standing on their behalf for God’s blessings, healing or protection.
2/ all are to embark into the habit of intercession because:
- Jesus did it
- it’s about bringing God’s will to pass.
- it gives access to the deep things of God,
- it’s a platform for spiritual empowerment and control outcomes in battles.
- it’s also the place for spiritual advantage over the secrets of heaven and orchestrate solutions on earth.
3/ to be effective in prayer and intercession you need:
- to understand the need to develop greater intimacy with God.
- be obedient to His promptings and word.
- pray God or kingdom prayers.
- watch the state of your heart (Pro 4:23) for out of it are the issues of life. Intercession is the only ministry Jesus is still doing whilst in heaven. So it’s worth we all do it.
