She outlines each step and explains how our human brain will try and stop us along the way.
Step 1- Managing our Mindset. Wendy explains how this is foundational to achieving our goals. An unmanaged mind will always get us more of the same. But once we learn to manage our mind, we can use our thoughts to create new beliefs that help us reach our goals faster and with more ease. Once you start learning mindset work and thought work, you realize you are really the one in control of your thoughts.
Step 2- Taking Consistent Action. Wendy explains that taking consistent action is like getting in the water if you want to learn to swim. You have to take action on your goals. If you don't move and take direct action, you will never reach your goals.
She also explains what she means by consistency. Consistency is going to look different for you on different days, but the important thing is to keep moving forward.
Step 3- Don't stop until you get there. Your brain is going to try to get you to quit. The thing you want is outside your comfort zone. Building it will require you to grow emotionally and mentally. This growth process literally causes your brain to experience growing pains. Your brain does not want to feel uncomfortable. This is why so many people quit. They can not stand the feelings of uncertainty and doubt that overtake them. Getting committed to your goal, and staying committed to it, no matter what, will guarantee you actually reach it.
