We have been working through our What God Says About series. This week we tackle a topic that is not often talked about in the church—sex. Scripture has much to say about it though, so it seems important we discuss what God has to say. God makes it abundantly clear that sex was created to be shared within the covenant of marriage, as two become one. The stain of sin in this world has sadly tainted the view of sex, painting it in a way that one should explore their sexuality, rather than saving it for the scaredness of marriage. The Bible makes it clear that sex is a good gift from God, to be shared only in marriage. As we aim to honor God in our sex lives we see three truths within scripture—to delight in your spouse, honor wise boundaries, and understand the danger of adultery.
