Good morning, New York City! This is your Weather Whisper coming in hot with today's forecast that's as unpredictable as a Broadway plot twist.
We've got a Wind Advisory in effect, so hold onto your hats and maybe that morning coffee, folks! Today's looking like a meteorological rollercoaster. Expect partly sunny skies with temperatures climbing to a chilly 47 degrees Fahrenheit. But here's the kicker - wind chills will make it feel like you're in a freezer, ranging between 20 and 30 degrees early on.
Those southwest winds are going to be rowdy, gusting up to 48 miles per hour. It's like nature decided to turn the city into a wind tunnel! There's a 30 percent chance of showers between 1 and 4 in the afternoon, so maybe pack that umbrella, just in case.
Tonight, we're looking at mostly clear skies with temperatures dropping to a brisk 23 degrees. Wind chill values will hover between 10 and 15 degrees, so definitely break out those winter layers.
Thursday brings sunshine and a high near 37 degrees Fahrenheit. Friday's forecast? Rain is on the menu, with a 90 percent chance of precipitation and potential rainfall between a quarter and half an inch.
The weekend looks more stable, with Saturday promising sunny skies and Sunday bringing mostly cloudy conditions. Monday will tease us with a warmer 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
