Good morning, Baltimore! I'm your weather wizard here to break down the chilly forecast that's heading our way.
Let's dive right in. Today's looking like a bit of a mixed bag. We've got a slight chance of snow showers before 9 in the morning, then transitioning to rain showers between 9 and 3 in the afternoon. Expect cloudy skies with temperatures climbing to a brisk 44 degrees Fahrenheit. Winds will start calm and then shift to a gentle south breeze around 5 to 7 miles per hour.
Tonight, things cool down with a low around 32 degrees Fahrenheit. There's a slight chance of rain after 1 in the morning, and winds will shift to come from the north around 6 miles per hour.
Sunday is where things get interesting, folks! We're looking at a potential snow and rain combo, with temperatures struggling to hit 37 degrees Fahrenheit. The north wind will be blowing at 9 to 11 miles per hour, and we might see 1 to 3 inches of snow accumulation.
Sunday night continues the winter wonderland theme. Snow is likely before 10 in the evening, with temperatures dropping to a frigid 19 degrees Fahrenheit. Expect northwest winds gusting up to 20 miles per hour.
Martin Luther King Day brings some sunshine, but don't get too excited - we're talking about a high of just 24 degrees Fahrenheit with west winds up to 32 miles per hour. Monday night will be crystal clear but bone-chillingly cold, with temperatures dipping to a mere 8 degrees.
The rest of the week looks cold and mostly dry, with partly sunny days and nighttime temperatures hovering around 11 to 20 degrees Fahrenheit.
