It’s the last episode of season 1! To celebrate, Alex and Karen are joined by their podcast producer Will Chernoff to answer some burning questions from their illustrious guests and the three of them reflect on their experience making the season.
Questions answered:
- Jamie Lee: What was the intention behind creating this pod and choosing guests? Do you feel like you earned what you were hoping for?
- Alana Yee: What kind of music do you mostly listen to?
- Kria Wall: How have you discovered a creative balance for yourself? If not, what are you working on/what would you like to work on to find it, if you’re needing more balance? (i.e. rest)
- Cary Campbell: What is your understanding of limits and limitations in your creative process/practices?
- Alana: What’s your Chinese zodiac animal?
- Alana: If you could invite 5 people over for dinner (dead or alive) who would they be?
- Kria: How does your gender affect your art? Do you think gender takes a role in how/what you create, or is it irrelevant?
- Alana: What did you want to grow up to be as a child?
- Kria: Have you tried any new creative endeavours recently, and if so, did you have an expectation for how you’d do? Did it go the way you thought?
- Chris Johnson: What was your worst instance of writers / creative block and how did you side step it?
- Alana: What’s your usual process when writing a song/music?
- Alana: What’s the most weirdest or odd job you’ve ever had to do as an artist? (Including regular jobs not just art related ones)
- Josh Eastman: I would love to hear how you maintain an excitement around "creative" pursuits, and how your relationship with art and creation has changed and how it's remained the same!
