Greetings to the path finders out there. Thanks for tuning in to the Up Is Down Podcast, I very much appreciate your interest and support. This time around I follow up, in a way, the previous episode with some analysis of the mythological significance of mobs and those who step away from the certainty of a secured position within a hierarchy, resulting in a moral dilemma; The Left Hand Path or The Right Hand Path.
In this episode I deconstruct the moral equivalency of what each path means in cultural tradition and myth of past and present, as well as etymology of the words Left and Right and how they are used to shape the intrinsic nature of human morality, intentionally as well as unconsciously.
Drawing on the Warrior Mythos of Joseph Campbell, it's not difficult to apply the same architecture in the present mythology everyone of us have a hand in creating as we live and breathe our lives into the Tolpa of the Coronavirus.
The Paths of the Left and Right Hand are becoming less and less a path and more akin to canyons, the cliffs of which we are being rushed toward like bison.
