I want to thank everyone who joined the UFN Book Club's Zoom Meeting. We will have our next meeting Sunday, March 14, 2021, from 7 pm-9 pm EST. In our last meeting, we went through The first five sections of chapter 1:

We discussed Plato briefly.

We discussed Archaic European Epistemology: Substitution of Object for Symbol.

We discussed Dichotomization and the Notion of Harmony.

We discussed Reification of the Object: Devaluation of the Senses.

We discussed the Theory of Humanness.

We discussed The New Dominant Mode.

We came to an agreement that we will continue reading chapter 1. At our next meeting (7 pm), the first 30 minutes, we will recap what happened in our last meeting. We can answer questions on the topics above as we wait for other members to arrive. Libation will start at 7:30 pm. We will continue our review on the second half of chapter 1. Again, we will be reading African-Centered books. Our first book is: "Yurugu: An African-Centered Critique of European Cultural Thought and Behavior"
