We are joined by the lovely Dr Nerida McGilchrist to talk all things Equine Nutrition! Nerida has a PhD in equine nutrition, has published lots of research on equine nutrition and works with high level competition and race horses around the world. One of her passions is educating horse owners about how to feed their horses for both every day wellness and particular nutrition related conditions.

In Part 3 of this 4 part mini series, Nerida explains the important role nutrition has when it comes to Equine Gastric Ulcer Syndrome. We talk about how horses have developed over the years and why this is a disease of domestication, how what we feed and how we feed it is important to prevent, manage and treat EGUS and most importantly, why everyone should be feeding horses prior to work.
