Congressman Jamie Raskin has proudly served the people of Maryland's 8th congressional district since 2017 and sits of the powerful House Oversight Committee. Following the attack on the Capitol on January 6, 2023, Raskin was the primary author of the articles of impeachment which charged President Trump with inciting an insurrection on the United States Capitol, he was also named as the lead impeachment manager for Trump's second impeachment trial.
