Chris and I have a great discussion about what Moses teaches the Israelites just prior to entering the promise land. Interestingly enough, it is a passage that we both took notes on when we read it.

In Deuteronomy 10&11, Moses takes the entire Israelite nation back through all of God's miraculous works, and his commands for living in the promise land. He describes blessings for those that follow His commands and curses for those that choose to disobey. He instructs them to teach their children the history of God's faithfulness and His character.

If you were to ask of this daily reading, "What do you want me to know?" and "What do you want me to do?" We would suggest this is a model for how we are to live our lives with our kids and those around us. Tell them about God's faithfulness, teach them about His character, and demonstrate what it means to live in relationship with God.
