After a 3-0 start and a win over Mississippi State, Memphis coach Ryan Silverfield and the Tigers underwent a painful loss against UTSA on Saturday. Despite taking a 21-0 lead in the first quarter, Memphis took its foot off the gas and allowed the Roadrunners to come back.

Throughout the football discussion, Stubblefield explains what the energy was like inside the Liberty Bowl, and Fowler gives his opinion on what this loss means for Memphis. Following the loss, the Tigers will begin conference play on Saturday against Temple.

Next, the duo breaks down the open practice that both GT247 crew members were at on Tuesday. The crew was able to watch Jalen Duren and Emoni Bates and the rest of the Tigers practice, and it was a very impressive event.

Memphis is clearly extremely long, athletic and talented, and they have an opportunity to be among the best teams in the country this season. They have an incredible balance of experience, depth, young talent and leadership.
